Project Overview

Boba Mi approached us with a vision to create a digital experience that would match the quality and uniqueness of their Vietnamese street food and boba tea offerings.

The Challenge

Boba Mi needed a website that would not only showcase their menu but also provide a way where customers could access the menu, learn about the brand, and place orders online. The goal was to create a seamless user experience that would drive engagement and increase sales.

The previous website was outdated, and not maintained. It lacked a modern design and was not optimized for mobile devices, which was a significant barrier to attracting new customers.

Our Approach

We began with extensive research, including competitive analysis and user interviews, to understand customer preferences and pain points in the ordering process. This informed our design decisions and feature prioritization.

We took a mobile-first approach, ensuring that the ordering experience was seamless on smartphones, where the majority of users access the site. The design incorporated vibrant, culturally authentic visual elements while maintaining a clean, intuitive interface.

Phase 01

Discovery & Research

We conducted extensive research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitor analysis. This involved stakeholder interviews, user surveys, and on-site observations of the ordering process at Boba Mi's location.

Key findings revealed that customers valued menu authenticity, visual appeal, and ordering convenience. These insights directly influenced our design decisions.

Phase 02

Design & Prototyping

Based on our research findings, we created wireframes and interactive prototypes that were tested with real users. The design incorporated authentic Vietnamese cultural elements while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.

We iteratively refined the user experience based on testing feedback, focusing on streamlining the ordering process and enhancing visual hierarchy.

Phase 03

Development & Implementation

We built the website using Next.js 15 and React 19, ensuring fast performance and optimal SEO. The codebase was structured for maintainability and future expansion.

Special attention was given to accessibility standards and cross-device compatibility. We implemented a robust testing regime to ensure stability across browsers and devices.

Phase 04

Launch & Optimization

We executed a comprehensive launch plan, including staff training and a soft launch period to gather initial feedback. Post-launch, we implemented analytics tracking to monitor user behavior and key performance metrics.

Ongoing optimization efforts included A/B testing of key user flows and regular performance audits to ensure optimal site speed and conversion rates.
